The laproscopic hysterectomy is one of the most perfect example of a technology misused. It involves multiple punctures on the abdomen and a very long duration of procedure along with heightened risk of anaeshthasia and due to heavy instrumentation and gas application inside the abdomen. Cost is also highly escalated. In some procedure only half the procedure is attempted from above and the rest half done from below like aquadissection ( what is the point in doing this.. no one knows ) But since aqudissection started to get worldly known it has began to replace the laproscopic hysterectomies altogether .. |
